Jeron's Resume

Jeron Devonte is a classically trained male soprano, vocal artist/performer, vocal music educator, and certified group fitness instructor, whose life and artistry embody resilience and reinvention. A Tennessee native now based in Los Angeles, Jeron holds a Master of Sacred Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
His career has taken him from Italy’s castles and cathedrals to American stages, where he has performed alongside world-renowned artists and shared music internationally.
Behind the achievements lies a deeply personal journey. Growing up in a fractured household and navigating bullying, rejection, and mental health challenges including ADHD, PTSD, and severe anxiety, Jeron found safety and identity in singing. Music became his anchor - his way of reclaiming joy and authenticity. These experiences led him to the practice Vocal Healing, a holistic approach that blends technical training with breathwork, movement, body, mind, and voice connection, and vulnerability to help others discover freedom and strength in their own voices.
In addition to his private studio, Jeron has taught in higher education, coached singers of all levels, and directed ensembles, empowering students not only to sing but to grow as whole people. He is also a certified group fitness instructor, integrating physical stamina, breath control, and body awareness into vocal coaching. This unique combination of disciplines allows him to guide singers, speakers, and creatives through a process that strengthens both the instrument and the individual.
As founder of The BATTLE Association (thebattleassociation.org), Jeron continues to expand access to vocal education, creating programs for underserved communities while building connections across genres and cultures. His work is rooted in one belief: that every voice holds power and deserves to be heard. Through Vocal Healing, Jeron invites others to reclaim their own joy of singing - no matter their background, struggles, or starting point.
